Ahh These Days

My other blog got deleted because I just didn't get on it enough, so this is my new one :)

Yesterday I went rock climbing with a friend. Today there's no telling what I am going to do. It's 9:05 in the morning and no one is up. My friend is here and she is sound asleep behind me. My first semester in college was a great one. College isn't what most people think it is, but it is a great place to be. Everyone is so nice and you meet a lot of marvelous people. I've met over 50 new people from being there.. I hang out with about 20 everyday. We just sit and study or hang out in the TV room, it's all fun.

Hmm let's see, I guess I can introduce myself. I am Shelby, I love anything and everything about nature. I like poetry. My favorite poet is Edgar Allen Poe.  I like to go Geocaching of all things. If you don't know what Geocaching is, it's where people all around the world hide things. I like to call it a treasure hunt. You have a GPS system and have to download the coordinates or if you have an Iphone, you can just download the app . When you find it, if you want anything in the cache you get to keep it, but you have to put something of yours in exchange. Then sign your name in it. If you have little children it's the best thing to go do. I take my little brother and sister and they LOVE it.

Currently I am studying to become an Occupational Therapist. I've always wanted to help people and this is the perfect way for me to do it. The school put me in a biology major, but I am really just transferring in a few years after my pre-rec's.
